The outside of most cars can be completely stripped in about 2 hours, consuming 4-6 bags of recycled bottle glass, using a 185 cfm compressor. The removed paint and recycled glass will stay on the ground beneath and around the car. The easiest way we've found to clean up is to just put plastic down before blasting. After blasting, but preferably before the final rust inhibitor rinse down, just roll up the plasic and throw it away. Proper use of the rust inhibitor gives you up to 72 hours of rust resistance in ideal conditions, but it is recommended that you prime as soon as possible after blasting.
